Cairngorm, Aviemore

Where are all the Reindeer?

After 2 whole years Rosie and I finally managed to meet up in the midlands, venturing from opposite sides of the Scottish coast. What better way to catch up than to hike one of Scotland’s most famous munros – The Cairngorm.

We left the Cairngorm summit until the end and headed back towards the car pack under the mountain railway. On our way down we bumped into a couple who were making their way up towards the summit and planning to camp out by a beach behind the ridge we were on.

After the climb we found a whole herd of reindeer back at my car!
